Fresh pics, and doctor visit info!

She weighs 11 lbs, 1 oz., which falls in the 50th percentile. She fell just a wee little bit in that area.

She is 59.5 centimeters long, or 23.425 inches, which is in the 75th percentile. That is a higher percentile than her measurement just 16 days ago! She is eleven weeks old today!

These pictures were obviously taken before the doctor visit, since all of those vaccinations changed Alexandra's mood a bit. The first is a great picture of her sleeping sideways in her bassinet, which is her favorite sleep position. The second was taken right after she woke up.

Her first Thanksgiving!

I took this first picture literal seconds before she had a volcanic spit up of outfit-changing proportions. The second picture was taken yesterday in her bassinet. She visited mom at work for lunch and was there to greet mom when her shift ended at 7pm. Cute!!

Two months old!

Wow! Two months...went to the doctor today to get the little bump on her head checked out (circled in yellow on the picture). It is a cavernous hemangioma (click here for more info) which is nothing to be concerned about, outside of cosmetic factors (which is why I will probably touch up future pictures of Alexandra to make the bump less prominent). We will take her to a dermatologist to see what they recommend.

Weight: 10 lbs, 12 oz., which is in the 50th percentile for weight.
Height/length: 22.5 inches, which is in the 50-75th percentile for height.

Alexandra after her doctor's appointment today!

Another smile!

Since she's about to eat, it's usually the best time to get a grin! Eight weeks old today!

Smile!

Alexandra really is smiling regularly, and they are full out ear-to-ear grins- they're just really hard to get on camera. This is the best I've done so far. She is also cooing, making high-pitched happy noises, and starting to learn how to laugh! She will be 8 weeks old on Wednesday!
